The Cuckmere Soundwalk

The Cuckmere Soundwalk was launched in September 2020 by the composer Ed Hughes for the ECHOES interactive soundwalks App. This App uses geo-location to enable users to enjoy site-specific walking experiences with immersive sound and music

Follow a trail from source to sea of the Cuckmere River along the Cuckmere Haven, an area of flood plains in Sussex Haven (made famous by artist Eric Ravilious), where the river Cuckmere meets the English Channel, with specially conceived orchestra music performed by the Orchestra of Sound and Light, changing according to position, context and views. Cuckmere River and Haven are located between the coastal towns of Seaford and Eastbourne

·        The Cuckmere Soundwalk - available as a free site specific soundwalk along the Cuckmere River and Cuckmere Haven, via ECHOES Interactive Soundwalks (download to your phone via App store or Google Play and search for 'Cuckmere')
